The difference is the PEG has a longer tube hanging out of it, and it’s used to establish a channel (for lack of a better phrase) between the outside world and the stomach. The button looks like a nub on an inflatable ball. So it doesn’t stick out as much etc. And yes he came home this afternoon and is doing fine :)

We never had to use the PEG Tube.  Is there a huge difference with it from the mickey button?  I bet he&#039;ll like having that NG tube gone! Is he home yet?</description>
